MIT’s Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) is organizing its first symposium in Houston, USA. To be held on December 3rd, 2024. The overall theme is Operations.
Gain the insights needed to navigate the dramatic changes driven by global economic forces, emerging technologies, and evolving government policies. This event will explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI), essential workforce development strategies, groundbreaking advancements in manufacturing, shifting international trade patterns, and the impact of recent U.S. legislation on industrial policy.
Who?
The MIT Startup Exchange team is looking for two startups working on operations, logistics, supply chain related tech/products. Select startups will be afforded:
- a five-minute presentation
- a booth in the exhibit area
Target audience
Approximately 120 attendees are expected, to be comprised mostly of industry executives as well as key local players from the Houston ecosystem.
Process Overview

- All applications to be reviewed, and feedback provided to all applicants
- Select startups to be invited for a dry-run prior to the conference
By accepting to participate in MIT Startup Exchange startup lightning talks, live or virtual, you agree to adhere to the following:
- Commitment to the day/time of the event and related commitments (e.g. dry run presentations, preparation call/meeting).
- Commitment to the presentation and exhibition format/guidelines and deadlines, including but not limited to the submission of final presentation slides, signed consent form, requested company and speaker materials (bio, headshot, logo etc.)
- Commitment to completing the post-event feedback form by the noted deadline.
