Seeking startup speakers for 2025 MIT Bangkok Symposium

MIT’s Industrial Liaison Program (ILP) is organizing its second annual Symposium in Bangkok, Thailand. To be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the overall theme is Artificial Intelligence (AI). MIT faculty will give talks on various applications, and at least two panel discussions featuring a cross-section of leaders in the field of AI will be held. 

Who?

The event will also include Startup Lightning talks. The MIT Startup Exchange team is looking for up to three startups working on AI for Business and interested in the Asian market. Select startups will be afforded:

- a five-minute presentation

- a booth to display its offerings to attendees during breaks and the symposium luncheon

-  private meetings with executives of ILP member companies based in Thailand

Target audience

Approximately 300 attendees are expected, to be comprised of industry executives as well as some members of government and academia.

The event will be held at True Digital Park, Southeast Asia’s largest tech and startup hub

- All applications to be reviewed, and feedback provided to all applicants

- Select startups to be invited for a dry-run prior to the conference

- Please note priority will be given to startups that didn’t present in previous editions

- Commitment to the day/time of the event and related commitments (e.g. dry run presentations, preparation call/meeting). 

- Commitment to the presentation and exhibition format/guidelines and deadlines, including but not limited to the submission of final presentation slides, signed consent form, requested company and speaker materials (bio, headshot, logo etc.)

- Commitment to completing the post-event feedback form by the noted deadline.
