Looking for 6-8 startups to present their technology/products during the Startup Lightning Talks and participate in the Lunch Exhibit. Specific guidelines will be provided for the slide deck and other requirements.
Focus: technology, tools and products relevant to pharma (small molecule and biologics), in drug discovery, delivery, screening, efficacy testing, data analytics and manufacturing.
Audience: executives from major pharma companies who have a presence in Korea - global pharma companies, e.g., Pfizer, Novartis, as well as Korean pharma companies, e.g., Samsung Biologics (Top 5 Global CDMO with a market cap of $50Bn), Yuhan, GC, Hanmi, among others.
Overview: MIT ILP & Startup Exchange will be hosting a Life Science Conference in Seoul on April 28 sponsored by KPBMA (Korea Pharma and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association, the largest pharma industry org in Korea). In addition to the lightning talks and lunch exhibit at the conference, we are also planning to have VIP networking dinners and arrange one-on-one meetings with ILP member companies of your interest, not limited to the pharma companies (e.g., Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motors, LG Chemical, LG Energy Solution, Hanwha Solution, etc.)
Expenses: MIT will reimburse for travel expenses for 1 rep (speaker), sufficient to cover coach travel, local transport, and hotel (details will be forthcoming). We will advise on the latest for a visa application, if needed at the time.
Note: speakers from the previous Seoul Conferences included MIT Prof. Robert Langer, Tyler Jacks and Matthew Vander Heiden, to name a few.
